Shelley has 40 years’ experience in the apparel industry working alongside many colleagues and partners in the development of technical textiles to protect and save human life. Lac-Mac Limited is a Canadian manufacturer of PPE for three divisions: healthcare, utility FR and chemical splash protection.

Shelley completed her education in Fashion Design and was hired at Lac-Mac in the role of lead designer, which she held for many years. Later, Shelley completed education in Engineering (Manufacturing) and followed it with a General Business degree and Master of Business Administration. Shelley’s career has followed an exciting and challenging path of growth in Lac-Mac holding positions in design, director of research and development and vice president of operation. Today Shelley holds the position of president, where she looks to the future for new technology and industry advancements of technical textiles.
