Dr. Victoria Fulfer is a microplastic scientist with the 5 Gyres Institute, a science-based nonprofit organization focused on leveraging science to support solutions for plastic pollution. She has spent the past seven years studying how microplastics move through marine and coastal environments and conducting on-the-ground research assessing the plastic pollution crisis from local to global scales.

Dr. Fulfer received her doctor of philosophy from the University of Rhode Island's Graduate School of Oceanography.
