Murtaza Ahmed is the CEO of Artistic Milliners, one of the world’s largest vertically integrated denim manufacturers, based in Pakistan. He is also the founder of Star Fades International (SFI), a full-package design, innovation and production hub in Los Angeles, which acts as a gateway to the Americas for brands looking to enhance their nearshoring capabilities.

During his leadership, Artistic Milliners became the first Pakistani business to achieve LEED Platinum and Fairtrade certifications. Mr. Ahmed has been recognized as a Global Champion of Women in Business by The Financial Times and received the United Nations Global SDG Pioneer Award for his contributions to women's economic growth. He has also been acknowledged as one of Rivet Magazine's 50 Denim Influencers. Mr. Ahmed also serves on the board of Artistic Energy, a subsidiary of Artistic Milliners, which produces 100 MW of wind energy and is expanding into other renewables such as solar and hydro.

He holds a graduate degree in entrepreneurship and finance from Babson College and is committed to advancing sustainable practices and inclusion within the global industry.
