Miran Ali is the Managing Director of Bangladesh-based apparel manufacturer Bitopi Group, overseeing five factories. He’s also the Vice President of BGMEA, where he works on making the fashion industry in Bangladesh sustainable and safe.

His unwavering dedication to safety and compliance is reflected in his directorial role at the RSC-RMG Sustainability Council, a pioneering force for transformation in the RMG sector. Mr. Ali is also the Global Spokesperson for the STAR Network and the Sustainable Terms of Trade Initiative, championing ethical trade and sustainable practices across Asia and the global textile landscape.

He holds a master of business administration from the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and the University of Bristol.
