Josh Teitelbaum serves as Senior Counsel for law firm Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where he helps Fortune 500 consumer brands and their trade associations navigate Washington’s most difficult issues. Using his experience from nearly every perspective of the federal policymaking process, he assists clients in developing effective policy responses, political strategies and communications messages.
Before joining Akin in 2016, Mr. Teitelbaum served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for textiles, consumer goods and materials with the International Trade Administration in the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC).
