Buxton Midyette is Vice President of Marketing in the New York office for Supima, the promotional brand of the U.S. Pima cotton industry. His responsibilities include all marketing, publicity, social media activities and fashion programs that include organizing the Supima Design Competition, a competition created to introduce the next generation of designers to the fashion industry. He has been with Supima since 2002, and has over 30 years of experience in the cotton industry.
He holds a master of business administration from the Wharton School of Business, a master of the arts in international studies from the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor of the arts in economics and Latin American studies from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
