Luciana Batista Pereira is Director of Human Resources and Sourcing at VEJA, leading their supply chains with a focus on agroecological cotton, native wild rubber, organic leather, and recycled polyester, involving around 5,500 producer families. She sees her life as one continuous project—one that begins in the field, weaves through people and places, and aims to reduce social inequality and promote harmony with the planet, creating at least, positive impact in people’s lives.
 
Ms. Pereira holds a degree in law and master of science in agrarian studies and environment from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
