Brendan Collins is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Avalo Inc., an AI-powered crop evolution company that breeds climate-resilient crop varieties. He started Avalo alongside Dr. Mariano Alvarez to create an agricultural system more aligned with natural ecosystems. 
 
Before Avalo, Mr. Collins was the lead software developer at a robotics company, focusing on next-generation distributed manufacturing solutions for small manufacturers. He also co-founded Share Lockers, which introduced the first web-enabled lockers for secure, contactless peer-to-peer exchanges. In 2012 Mr. Collins co-founded FanPay, a platform that allowed student-athletes to monetize their name and likeness before such practices became mainstream.
 
His academic background includes research in cell-based therapies for traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries at University College London (UCL). He holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in clinical neuroscience from UCL.
