Jennifer Gootman is a sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy executive with in-depth understanding of supply chain ESG issues. Most recently she was the Head of Sustainability and Social Impact for Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (WSI), leading social and environmental strategy and programming across the company’s eight brands.

Under Jennifer’s leadership, WSI launched the first Fair Trade-Certified factory program in home retail and was a founding partner of the Nest Standard for Ethical Handcraft. She built on Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s leadership in responsible materials and ethical production to launch a comprehensive climate strategy, including the announcement of the company’s Science-Based Target for carbon reduction across the entire value chain.
