Peter Comisar is Founder and Managing Partner of STORY3 Capital Partners, a leading alternative investment manager based in Los Angeles, CA focused on the consumer value chain. Since its inception in October 2018, STORY3 has sourced, arranged and executed over $1.1 billion of capital transactions in consumer-facing businesses. A core theme of its portfolio is leadership investments in consumer sustainability companies and technologies.
Before founding STORY3, Peter was Vice Chairman of Guggenheim Partners, LLC from 2009 to 2017, where he helped build the firm’s 700-plus member securities team and managed its consumer and retail investment banking efforts. Earlier, Peter held various positions at Goldman, Sachs & Co. over a 20-year career, as Partner and Managing Director responsible for consumer and retail investment banking efforts on the West Coast. Peter has advised on over $100 billion of transactions throughout his career, and is widely considered among the most connected dealmakers within the sector.
