Peter Iliopoulos joined Gildan in 2002 and is responsible for the overall management of the tax, ESG and governmental affairs departments at the organization. Peter has led Gildan’s ESG program for over 10 years, playing a vital role in its evolution. He has also served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the National Council of Textile Organizations in the United States since 2012 and most recently was appointed to the Trade Sub-Committee of the Sports & Fitness Industry Association.

Peter is a member of the Quebec Order of Chartered Professional Accountants and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University.
