Nate Herman is Senior Vice President of Policy at the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), a national trade association representing apparel, footwear and other sewn products companies — and their suppliers — competing in the global market. Mr. Herman oversees the AAFA’s policy department, managing the association’s lobbying, policy and regulatory affairs activities. Additionally, he leads the organization’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, formulating and implementing CSR policy and representing AAFA and the industry on CSR issues before governments, NGOs and other key stakeholders.
 
Mr. Herman holds a M.P.I.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.A. in International Relations and Economics from the University of Delaware.
