Buddy Teaster is President and Chief Executive Officer of Soles4Souls, a global nonprofit that turns shoes and clothing into educational and economic opportunities. Since 2006, the organization has provided more than 83 million pairs of shoes and clothing to people across 137 countries and all 50 U.S. states. Additionally, the company was honored this year by The Nonprofit Times as one of the Best Nonprofits to work for.
 
Mr. Teaster is a thought leader, speaker, and author of the book “Shoestrings: How Your Donated Shoes and Clothes Help People Pull Themselves Out of Poverty.” He was a YPO Global Impact Award Finalist and was included in Footwear News’ 2019 Power List for his leadership in the nonprofit and footwear space. 

Mr. Teaster holds an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
