Aleksandra Gosiewski is COO & Co-Founder of Keel Labs, a biomaterials company expanding the potential of the ocean with Kelsun™️, a seaweed-based yarn.
 
Early on in her fashion career, Ms. Gosiewski noticed a common disconnect between brands’ sustainability commitments and implementing them into their business practices. As a systems thinker with a background in economics, she is now bridging that gap by ensuring the responsible sourcing of seaweed and driving research and development operations to scale the production of Kelsun™️.
 
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she actively serves as an Alumni Advisory Council Member.
