Sydney Muñoz is Manager of Sustainability at Goodwill Industries International (GII), which supports a network of over 150 local organizations that help people reach their full potential through the power of work. Goodwill is the largest nonprofit provider of workforce training and development in North America and the leader in the secondhand retail market. Since joining Goodwill in 2022, Ms. Muñoz’s work has focused on advancing textile circularity and sustainability initiatives across the Goodwill network. 

With a career dedicated to sustainability, she has led numerous initiatives in circularity, waste reduction, clean energy, and alternative transportation across nonprofit, government, and university sectors. In 2024 she completed a three-year term as a board member for the American Solar Energy Society, where she led the nonprofit’s work with university students.

Ms. Muñoz holds a master of sustainability leadership from Arizona State University.
