Jack Sheehan is Director of Ocean Freight at Flexport, a leading, technology-enabled freight forwarder, customs brokerage, and fulfillment provider. He leads a team that partners with importers and exporters to navigate the complexities of today’s fast-changing ocean freight market. Mr. Sheehan’s work spans delivering timely market insights, developing end-to-end pricing and carrier strategies tailored to each customer’s needs, and ensuring those strategies deliver results after implementation.
 
He began his career at Hamburg Süd, holding roles across vessel planning, equipment management, customer service, and sales. Since joining Flexport in 2016, Mr. Sheehan has built deep expertise in operations and account management, spending six years in these functions before stepping into his current leadership role. Today, he draws on nearly a decade of hands-on experience to help businesses move goods smarter, faster, and more efficiently across global trade lanes.
