Mike Bozza is Deputy Port Director for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, where he is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operations functions of the Port, including facility management, infrastructure, leasing, environmental sustainability, port efficiency, business development, finance, and human resources.
 
Prior to this role, Mr. Bozza served the Port Department as Assistant Director of Commercial Development, General Manager of New Jersey Marine Terminals, Manager of Leasing and Property Development, and Operations Manager of New Jersey Marine Terminals. He has played a critical role in developing the Port Department’s response to major events such, as the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent ILA work stoppage. In addition, he has played a vital role in every major business transaction at the Port during his tenure.
 
Mr. Bozza joined the Port Authority in 2001 and throughout his career he has successfully completed complex negotiations on major land use and development transactions, led multiple creative development agreements across the Port Authority’s diverse real estate portfolio, and advanced key organizational and operational initiatives to optimize efficiency. In a variety of roles of progressive responsibility, throughout his career Mr. Bozza has played a critical role in advancing major transportation planning and real estate development projects.
 
He holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Shippensburg University and a master's degree in public administration from Rutgers University. In addition, he is an Accredited Maritime Port Executive and earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation from the CCIM Institute.
